FENOTEC and SGB celebrated a premiere with their ‘Tank Leak Prevention Days’ training series, which has been running since 2019. This was the first time that the forum on tank liners and leak detectors was offered and held outside Germany. With AutoZUM in Salzburg as an additional incentive to take part, the time and place were quickly found and the 1-day seminar was held at the Hotel Cool Mama in January. Around 20 interested parties took part. In addition to the information provided by FENOTEC and SGB on all aspects of inner tank liners and leak detection devices, the exchange of experiences between all participants was an important part of this knowledge forum.
A special highlight: Bernhard Dewitz from Dewitz Consulting & Engineering GmbH was invited as a guest lecturer, specialising in the ‘Flammable Liquids Ordinance (VbF)’. The VbF has only recently been revised and so it was interesting for all participants to find out about the updated version with its new requirements for tank protection in Austria.
