Protect yourself and others - after one year of the corona pandemic, the motto is hotter than ever and is consistently pursued and lived at SGB as usual.
The so-called rapid tests were launched as a new tool this week. They complement the existing security concept with distance regulations and contact restrictions within the company, air filter systems, FFP-2 mask requirements (provided by the employer), home office and ventilation and disinfection plans.
The tests are standard quick tests that you carry out yourself. The procurement ran smoothly via a regional wholesaler, so that there is a supply for the next two months.
All employees are given two tests per week free of charge. The tests themselves are then carried out on Mondays and Thursdays right at the start of work. Managing director Jost Berg initiated the tests and is thus following the current policy recommendations. "The tests do not give 100% certainty, we know that. But with the regular tests we are helping to raise awareness of the dramatic situation and, if necessary, to break chains of infection at an early stage," says Berg. Together with some employees - taking into account the minimum distances, of course - the company owner carried out a test run before Easter and was thoroughly enthusiastic: "Very easy to use and super-fast results. I am happy to be able to give my team a little more security."
Another reason to be happy: The tests at SGB started successfully and were consistently received positively by the employees. And best of all: all tests were negative.
