SGB Leak Detection Technology at ELAFLEX Group stand A1.327
Worldwide operating manufacturer of leak prevention technology SGB GmbH is pleased to announce its participation at SMM, 1–4 September 2026 in Hamburg, Germany, as part of ELAFLEX Group. The highlight: ELAFLEX DualSafe – the newly developed, double-walled hose assembly solution with SGB’s Ex vacuum leak detector VLXE 330 Ex M.
At stand A1.327 SGB is part of ELAFLEX Group, a globally leading specialist for the transfer of liquids and gases, developing and distributing solutions for handling conventional and alternative fuels as well as chemicals. SGB will present its fully explosion-proof vacuum leak detector VLXE 330 ExM that together with ELAFLEX double-walled hose is the new ‘DualSafe’.
The ELAFLEX DualSafe solution is available for ELAFLEX Yellow Band hoses like HD, TW or LTW and all chemical hoses according to EN 12115. The available size ranges from DN 15 to DN 80. Thanks to SGB’s proven leak detection technology, DualSafe can be used anywhere and significantly simplifies resource-planning processes. It works as a flexible replacement for liquid-tight loading zones with retention basins and meets the requirements of nature conservation areas. The VLXE 330 ExM provides a visual, acoustic and electrical signal whenever the vacuum in the monitored space is compromised.
SGB's leak prevention systems are used worlwide to monitor double-walled tanks and pipes that store or convey liquids hazardous to groundwater. Widespread operational areas are filling stations, tank farms, refineries, chemical plants, EPS, etc. Working either with overpressure or vacuum, SGB leak detectors monitor both walls reliably and continuously. In the event of a leak, an alarm is triggered before any stored or conveyed product can enter and harm the environment – an indispensable safety measure in environmental and water protection.
